I was raised in a really poor family. Even in an area where most people lived under the poverty line, we were worse off than most. However, for some reason, I never gave up on making things better for myself. I took a job and soon began to save for a cheap Kia. I knew that I couldn’t afford anything fancy, but needed to have something reliable to go to work. I learned to rely on myself at a very young age and it has served me well throughout my life. I still carry those lessons of self reliance and ambition with me.
