How We Turned Trash into Treasure

I come from a large family that barely had enough money to make ends meet. I learned how to be frugal and reuse items at a very young age. Lucky for me, I married a man who knows how to build things and owns a lot of tools. We found an old piece of laboratory furniture, a wash sink, at our local salvage center. We paid only ten dollars for it! My husband updated the plumbing, I painted it in bright colors, and we installed it in our garage. We now have an outdoor sink which comes in very handy when the kids are done making mud pies!
