Many homes for some odd reason have a fireplace but they put it in the most inconvenient place. Often you’ll find a home with the fireplace in an odd corner or shoved against a wall instead of being centered where it would look good. We decided to go out and get one of those Electric Fireplace Inserts to convert ours into a heater instead of a fireplace we stared into. The insert does have an artificial fire log set up but we wanted to simply turn it into more of a great heater than something to look at and this worked well.
