I am sixty five years old, and I have hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, and swine flu. I know I don’t have much longer to live, but it is hard to face my eventual mortality. I was at the hospital for CAT scan services recently. I filled out several forms. The usual family history, but one of the documents was a living will. I asked the clerk to explain to me what it meant. After speaking with her, I filled the document out, but I had a nagging feeling I should take the first step to make a will. I have an appointment next week to start the process.
