Most individuals are aware of Turtles except for the fact that not the entire turtle population is exactly similar. There are tortoises or land turtles. In terms of physical characteristics, it is not easy to find out the difference between turtle and tortoise. The Tortoises are turtles that thrive on land. Just like sea turtles, their marine connections, they’re sheltered by a shell on their backs. They differ in sizes and are withdrawn animals. Biologists as well as ordinary people generally refer to chelonians as turtles, even to tortoises and this act ignores the difference between the turtle and tortoise.
