We eventually made our way to the car hire office after what seemed like an eternity of trying to get through customs and immigration. I seriously could not get over how many people they were trying to process all at the same time. It must have been that time of day when several flights arrived all around the same time as I have arrived there before and not had to wait at all. Anyway, we got the car and headed for our hotel which was even better than we had expected. It was advertised as being near the beach, but we could literally walk out our door and be on the sand.
