Regarding Drop Shipping

One of the management techniques that has led to dramatically lowered prices of consumer goods bought over the internet is drop shipping. With this method, the online retailer carries no stock at all! All the retailer does is to link consumers with suppliers or wholesalers. When a purchase is made, the retailer notifies the wholesaler. It is then the wholesaler that ships the item direct to the customer. However in online commerce, the Latin saying “caveat emptor” or buyer beware holds especially true, as you cannot see physical representative until the last moment, if at all.
