Now we’re in the middles of doing the grand kitchen remodeling plan, I almost forgot the bathroom. When I got up this morning before the rest of the household was stirring I took a good look at the space as it is now.  Well it’s clear that we have a major job on our hands there too! The room is dark, the fittings are out of date and worn out and the tub, basin and vanity look like they came off the Ark! Aaargh! When my husband and I were newlyweds, we lived in a small studio apartment. The rent was cheap, which was great, but there was a lot of work that needed to be done. There was only one bathroom and it was in sad shape. Luckily, my husband is handy and we were able to do some improvements in lieu of rent.
