Most people have probably watched a movie involving some sort of fantasy sequence or content.  In many sci-fi and horror films, there will be times when one person transforms into someone – or something – else.  These amazing special effects have been around in some form for years.  At one time, a technique called crossfading used to be implemented to get the transformation sequence correct.  Now, the advancement of image morphing software has allowed these transformations to look seamless onscreen – and frees the actors from certain restrictions in movement they had once dealt with.  It’s definitely a new day in film thanks to this type of technology.
