Quitting My Job

In some cases, you call the shot – you decide to quit your current job. But sometimes, you just don't have any other career options. The boss could fire you, or you might be forced to relocate. Either way, what's important is to be prepared in advance for a career change. Both scenarios have happened to me over the years so I know all about being in a situation like that from first hand experience. I have had one case when I was fired from my job and had to turn over the company car on the next morning. That was hard. I had another case when I actually resigned, but still manage to preserve great relationship with my former employer, so I left the door wide open.
