If you suffer from unabated diarrhea, despite your taking medication, it is possible that there is something wrong with your colon. There may be additional symptoms as well. Don’t be hesitant in consulting your doctor for one more time. It is possible that you may be at risk for, or, have colon cancer. Your doctor can judge in a best manner. He may ask for a colonoscopy, a minor procedure. A very thin wire with a minute bulb is inserted into the colon, and the doctor checks for abnormal conditions. If there are any, they are simultaneously removed. A piece of that would go for biopsy. Your doctor would then advise the course of treatment.
