Any speed reading expert will tell you that just learning speed reading is not enough, you have to learn to understand what you are reading. This is what is known as speed reading comprehension. Many people feel that they cannot read fast and understand the content at the same time. But, with practice this is very much achievable. In the beginning, try to take a minute’s pause after each paragraph you read. This minute’s pause will be to understand what you are reading. In time, you will start reading fast and understanding the subject at the same time.
