People who choose this particular specialization are usually pursuing careers as school psychologists, crisis specialists, diagnosticians, or program evaluators in public schools but can also get jobs with private schools and other educational institutions. School psychologists deal with students directly to discover any learning disorders which may have been brought about by trauma.
